Description:
Commandments
for Kids
1 There is only one God. He
made our world and
created each
one of us.
2 God must be first in your
life. He is more important
than your toys, computer,
friends, or anything
else you can think of.
3 Do not dishonor
God's name by
using angry or inappropriate words.
You should only use God's name when
you are talking to Him
or talking about Him.
4 Always remember
that Sunday is a
special day and it
should be spent
with God
and your
family.
5 Always love and honor
your parents by obeying
them, helping them without
being asked and
spending time with
them.
6 Always respect
your life and
the lives of
others. God gave
us life and it is
a great gift.
7 Marriage is a
"forever promise"
between a husband
and wife. Married
people should
respect their sacred
union and stay
faithful to each other.
8 Do not steal, cheat
or take things that
do not belong to
you. It is harmful
and God wants
us to respect
the rights of
others.
9 Always tell the
truth. Lying and
saying bad things
about others
hurts everyone
and makes God
sad.
10 Always be grateful
for the life, family,
home and faith
you have. Remember
to thank God every
day. -- © 2008 Barb Tourtillotte * Licensee Autom -- Wood/Paper -- 11" W x 14" H
